In the quiet pursuit of capturing the essence of our built environment, I approach photography as a reflective journey. My lens is drawn to the simplicity and the complexity of the structures that surround us—their forms, lines, and textures—and the ways in which they are illuminated by ever-changing light.
As a Luxembourg-based photographer, I find beauty in the minimal, the structural, and the abstract. Through a hybrid technique that utilizes the meticulous precision of large-format analog photography alongside digital photography techniques, I explore and frame the architecture and spaces we inhabit. My passion lies in the act of creation and in the pursuit of capturing the silent stories told by the environment we shape, and that in turn, shapes us.
My photography is an introspective experience, allowing me to analyze and reflect on moments and places, to freeze the now for future contemplation. Each image is an emotional narrative, shifting with the scenery and my own mood, creating a unique, personal interpretation of the world.
With years of dedicated exploration and study, I continually pare down to the essentials, seeking to distill the intriguing in the mundane and the elegance in the monolithic, whether in black and white or in the subtlest tones of color. My work is not just about framing urban landscapes; it’s about offering a new, more reductive and focused perspective on the diverse details of the world around us.
